Erica Harris, MSM, SHRM-CP, Total Rewards Manager at Goodwill Kentucky, joined hosts Jamie Swaim and Jason Heflin at the 2026 Kentucky SHRM Conference to discuss her role overseeing benefits, compensation, and wellness. She kicked off the conversation by reflecting on conference keynote speaker Maggie Harlow, praising her as a true business leader in addition to being Jack Harlow’s mother. On the operational side, Erica revealed that she has spent two years leading a massive system implementation to transition Goodwill Kentucky to ADP as a new HCM vendor, balancing this project alongside her daily HR responsibilities. When asked about a hypothetical forced karaoke scenario, she selected Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club,” explaining that she and her daughter love singing it together during car rides. For her personal keynote walk-up anthem, Erica chose T.I.’s “Bring ‘Em Out” to bring high energy to the stage. Passing a question along to the next podcast guest, she proposed asking what single superpower they would want. She shared that her own choice would be teleportation to keep up with her two active kids’ sports and cheer schedules across town.
